Young Actors Space
3rd – 8th Grades
a 7 week course designed to introduce your Young Artist to the principals of Acting. Students will participate in a series of theater and improv games to warm up their muscles and liberate their creativity. Discovering objectives, relationships and choices, each Young Actor will be given scenes or monologues to work on. Through improv and scene study we will explore Character Development, Sensory Work and Body Movement. Creating a safe and fun environment, students will be equipped with the tools to discover their authentic voice and bring that to the Theater Arts. Each participant will walk away from this course with a renewed sense of confidence which can be applied to all areas of life!
This course will culminate in a Presentation for the parents on the final class.
Emily Hope Webster has recently relocated from Los Angeles to the Connecticut Shoreline. She enjoyed 30 years in the industry as both a successful Child Performer and then as one of Los Angeles’ top talent agents. She is thrilled to be turning her attention to what she loves the most – teaching the love of Acting to Young Performers!
