Refining Your Monologues
By request this informative and fun class is being
brought back!
How many auditions have you missed out on because you
weren’t prepared? How many roles have you been passed by on because your
audition piece wasn’t polished, professional or not appropriate for your type?
Monologues are a required business tool, yet they are often neglected by most
actors. The fact is that every actor needs to have at least two
contrasting pieces that will define the essence of who they are and how they can
be cast. Refining presentation skills and pinpointing material that will
best show each actor's capabilities is the focus. This class will work on
polishing current monologues and acquiring new ones. The goal is great
monologues sized for the stage and agent's office auditions.
Some
experience, either classroom or stage, preferred.
